I find Ms. Houston's death so sad. So sudden. So gifted and yet so tormented. May she be with the living God, where every tear will be wiped away and there will be no more sighing, nor pain; only light and life everlasting. May she now sing with the angels.
Maybe we can all renew our resolve to pray for the souls of deceased celebrities.

I share sielos' reaction to Whitney's death. My eldest daughter was a big fan of her very early career years, so I got to hear a lot of her songs. She had a wonderful talent that became somewhat overshadowed by the unfortunate choices that she made. May God be merciful to His handmaiden and may her memory be eternal.
