One of my most beloved feast-days. The icon roughly corresponds to the miraculous image of O. L. of Guadalupe, so highly venerated especially in Mexico and in the Mexican diaspora, as well as other Latin American countries.

The tropar and kondak could also be used for the feast of O. L. of Guadalupe but the Ruthenian Church in the US has written proper texts, as it has been added to their calendar (Dec. 12).
