Prayers for all catechumens, and especially the O'Melay family. Mom and 4 children to be Baptized and Chrismated this Saturday in a local OCA parish. Both parents and one child have been very sick, with perhaps a true influenza, including the child in the hospital two nights. Yesterday all were doing OK. May God give them health and strength especially for this most great day.

(We have a single newly Illumined in my Latin parish , Baptized and Confirmed last Sat. at the Easter Vigil. We have three catechumens now preparing for the Sacraments of Initiation next Easter in that parish. It's such a gift walking this path with them.)
