A Blessed Pascha to my Orthodox brothers and sisters and those of my Catholic brothers and sisters who will observe it this week - and, belatedly (since I wasn't really online much last weekend), to all my Catholic brothers and sisters (and any of my Orthodox brothers and sisters who are from Finland) who observed it last week.
Many years,
Neil

CHRIST IS RISEN!
i'm still jurisdictionally Greek-Catholic for the moment. i brought my parents to the Copts, who had their bishop of Sydney visiting Singapore, and had their service from 6.45pm - 9pm. my parents are both in their late 70s, and the fact that the Copts have their service in mostly English and are friendly, makes all the difference to them - parents wouldn't have been able to handle a 4hr Slavonic-only service with poker-faced Russians. i then went to the Russians for 4 hours of service, followed by 2 hours of feasting. 'twas a good Pascha, though i would have preferred being in Dublin with Andrij and Angela and, of course, our late and dear Archimandrite Serge (Keleher).
