Thank you, my friend. The simplicity of the style in Coptic icons always touches me. I have always also been particularly drawn to the multiple icon life of the Theotokos - admittedly more Byzantine than Coptic in style.

Fascinating. These icons remind me somewhat deal of the holy images one finds in the old Spanish missions of New Mexico, such as El Santuario de Chimayo.
