Sighhhh

Why do people still think they can trust communist rulers? We seem to think that "the fall of communism" changed all this stuff around the world. Well, it happened in Russia and the Warsaw Pact, but it didn't come anywhere near Asia--China, North Korea, Vietnam. The Chinese still operate a gulag, as do the North Koreans. What do you think will happen to this man and his family now? In a little time, the West will move on to the next story--our attention span is about a minute and a half long--and they will simply disappear.

Heck, I don't trust our own government. Why should I trust theirs?
