Very interesting, Rose. Thank you for posting the link. It would be nice to see if there is any expression of the Church's diversity presented - or any plans to do so.
Many years,
Neil

This museum is QUITE the place to see and experience. Fr. Lutz is a great pastor of the parish which hosts the museum, Holy Family Church. He once gave me and two other friends a personal tour. Be prepared to spend hours there.
In that building, which was the former parish grammar and secondary school, not only is there the museum but one of the largest soup kitchens in the state of Ohio. Fr. Lutz likes to say, "we cherish all the treasures of the Church: her heritage and her poor."
A few months ago Fr. Lutz was being interviewed on EWTN's program hosted by Fr. Pakwa (I think). Fr. Lutz expressed that he desired to have the "Eastern Rite Room" and have a full iconostasis and altar to teach the people about the Eastern Churches.
Most of the items in the museum are things he salvaged from wrecking balls and dumpsters.
If you get a chance, check the place out.

Bless, Father Jon,
Yes, I noticed on the website that the museum income apparently, in large part, supports the soup kitchen - which is wonderful.
Hopefully, Father Lutz can save an iconostasis that might otherwise not be put to liturgical use. It would definitely be nice to see an Eastern presence there.
Many years,
Neil
