Please pray for our eldest parishioner Helen, 91. She had surgery on Monday for a broken hip. There is much to be optimistic about but still...
Helen came here from Ukraine and survived the concentration camps. She's a strong spirit and much beloved in our tiny parish.
He daughter, Lana, also precious to us all, has been in treatment for cancer.

Prayers for the Lord's handmaidens, Helen and Lana, that they both be comforted in these times of trial, that their doctors be guided by the Unmercenary Physicians, Cosmas and Damian, that the Lord give them healing and grant them many years.

We visited with Helen on Mother's Day. She looked wonderful. Please continue to remember her in your prayers.
