Glory be to Jesus Christ!

Does anyone know where I can find a relatively not too expensive Orthodox hand cross/crucifix for purchase-preferrably a wooden one? St. Tikhon's had some, but they seem to be all sold out. All others that I have found are gold or silver plated and really expensive.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank You!

Yes. St. Isaac's-Skete sells them, along with lots of other wonderful things:

I'm very surprised that the hand cross shown on the St Isaac site depicts God the Father. I would have bought one for myself, otherwise.

RussianCath: sure thing. I'm in the business (religious goods) so I knew about Skete and their Icons (we have an account with them).

Slavophile: It's so interesting that you mention the repersentation of God the Father on the cross. I, too, have always been uncomfortable with the depiction of the Father in human form. Although there isn't, evidently, any prohibition against this in Roman Catholicism, I am of the mind that it just isn't a good idea. It seems silly at best, even pagan, in a way, insofar as depicting him as a physically robust old man calls to mind images of Zeus.

Does the Church of the East prohibit such depictions of the Father?

I would prefer that the Father be represented through some sort of symbol and not be depicted in human form.
