Amen, amen, amen to Fr. Loya.
The Catholic Church on paper comprises about 22% of the U.S., of course overwhelmingly Latin Catholic.
Now, while my personal desire would be to see the other 88% of this country become Greek Catholic, I would die very happily if we could match the Latin Church's 22%.
Imagine the victory for Christ that would be!
Imagine how startled the secular and ecclesiastical Powers-That-Be would be. The leaven of 22% of this country being Greek Catholic would totally upend the culture. And if Greek Catholics become a force in the most influential culture in world, the shock waves would reverberate throughout the globe.
Please, God-loving Greek Catholic bishops, I beg you to make disciples of this nation.
Lord Jesus Christ, if it be Your Holy Will, please convert our leaders as You did with Sts. Constantine and Vladimir. Glory be to You!

Fr. Loya talked this week, June 10, on his Light of the East Radio about Cardinal Sandri's celibacy comment at the ad limina. He did an excellent job of framing the issues. The podcast isn't uploaded yet to the archives page. Check back later in the week.
