Has anyone read Philip Sherrard's Christianity: Lineaments of a Sacred Tradition? I'm particularly interested in Sherrard's popularity among Eastern and Latin Catholics.

As a Ukrainian Catholic, I love the book. Sherrard is not beyond criticism, of course, but I was introduced to his work about 15 years ago (as an Anglican), and have, since then, read a great deal of it. Christianity: Lineaments of a Sacred Tradition was particularly helpful during a trying time in my faith.

I would be happy to say more, but is there something specific you are wondering about beyond his level of popularity among Catholics?
