Tomorrow , our Member Slavophile, Fr Deacon Slavophile smile , will be ordained to the Priesthood by Kyr Hlib at the 10.30am Liturgy in the UGCC Church of the Good Shepherd in Gloucester.

I would ask you to keep him in your prayers , that he will continue to serve the Lord as a faithful servant.

Axios! Axios! Axios!

May God grant many years to His servant, the soon to be ordained Priest James, our brother and friend Slavophile, that he might serve God and God's people faithfully and with reverence for all of his days.

Thank you for that, both of you. I am just dropping in on the byzcath, having spent the last five days in a monastery.

Incidentally, for prayer purposes, it is probably best to call me 'James'. grin

I am off to Gloucester now for a day's worth of rehearsing things and making sure everything is in order, and will return to Cardiff this evening before setting off again in the morning.

All of your prayers are appreciated.

May you go forth "in the spirit and the power of Elijah" to turn the hearts of God's children to their Father; and, like the holy Forerunner fearlessly point to Christ, the Lamb of God!
