Greeks also make stuffed cabbage ("lahanodolmades"), as do Arabs, Romanians, Serbs, Bulgarians and Albanians. Rather than being a point of division, all Orthodox jurisdictions in America have stuffed cabbage as a rallying point. I've already proposed an educational series entitled "Stuffed Cabbage: Unity in Diversity" to the Assembly of Bishops, but I haven't heard back from them yet. Fr. David

If we could get a group of women to make them according to their tradition, showing the unity yet diversity among us, why not?! I think it could virile on YouTube! And we all know Church unity will come from the laity -- why not from food?! Jack
