Description
Held at the close of the Liturgy, just before the Benediction and Dismissal. The honeycomb was provided by a beekeeper in the congregation.

The prayer used was the one posted in this forum....probably made North American Lutheran history today.

The beekeepers are already talking about "next year"!

We are one of the very few congregations to still celebrate a traditional Rogate (Sunday before Ascension) with blessing of the seeds and soil as well as a Harvest Home in late September. This was a very comfortable fit with our existing agrarian blessings.
