Description

Held at the close of the Liturgy, just before the Benediction and Dismissal. The honeycomb was provided by a beekeeper in the congregation.

The prayer used was the one posted in this forum....probably made North American Lutheran history today.

Thomas the Seeker Member Registered: 04/24/09 Posts: 705 Loc: PA	The beekeepers are already talking about "next year"! We are one of the very few congregations to still celebrate a traditional Rogate (Sunday before Ascension) with blessing of the seeds and soil as well as a Harvest Home in late September. This was a very comfortable fit with our existing agrarian blessings.
