I would ask that everyone pray for my mom. Late Sunday night / early Monday morning her right lung collapsed, and she was taken to hospital. I have been informed by her doctors that she will not live more than a few days. She is in good spirits, and is being made comfortable. Any and all prayers would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. - My mom converted to the Byzantine Catholicism on 16 July 2012. She has a special devotion to the Theotokos, Joy of all who Sorrow.

You have my most heartfelt prayers for your mom. My mom passed away much this same way about 7 1/2 years ago.

O Mary, Most Holy and Mother of Our Lord and Savior, intercede for us who have recourse to thee!

My mother also passed away of respiratory failure (including a collapsed lung) almost a year ago as well. Prayers to the Mother of God "Joy of All who Sorrow" and "of the Passion" for your mother's peace and healing.

Prayers to your mother, and your family. I'll definitely put it up for petition, at the Roman church I'll be going to, tomorrow, for morning mass.

Prayers for Todd's Mom, that the Theotokos envelop her in her mantle of protection and that the Lord receive her into His kingdom, free of pain and suffering, when He wills to take her.
