His Beatitude, Patriarch Gregorios III, says, "this is a very tragic situation: prayer needed." Please lift up in prayer the people of Syria, that the Lord may protect them and led them into peace. See Patriarch Gregorios III: "Blessed are the peacemakers" Lord, have mercy!

We pray God to deign to bring back love to the hearts of all Syrians, so that they will have no need of weapons or fear of massacres, for they will be living together, as children of the same family and the same homeland.

Prayers for our brethren of the Syriac, Maronite, Melkite, Antiochian, Chaldean, and Assyrian Churches in Syria and for all the peoples of Syria, regardless of faith, that their land be returned to a state of peace in which they can live unmolested and practicing their beliefs without fear or harm.
