Interrupted Lives is a one hour informational broadcast documentary that explores the plight of Eastern-rite and Latin-rite Catholic Sisters under Soviet domination from the end of World War II to the Fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989. Filmed on location in Ukraine, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, and the United States, the lives of these sisters offer powerful testimony of their deep faith and courage. Undeterred by evil forces surrounding them, they continued to live their commitment to religious life and to their Catholic faith. The trailer video is very moving as is the exhibit section. http://interruptedlives.org/

It's on EWTN right now, 7:00-8:00PM, in the San Francisco Bay Area, maybe also other Pacific Time zone channels.

I watched this program on Friday evening and highly recommend it. The documentary featured both RC and GC sisters. I can not help but contrast what these sisters in eastern Europe went through, holding fast to their faith, while the majority of sisters in the US adopted herectical beliefs and practices. If anyone disagrees with me, you must not be following the ongoing conflict between the LCWR (which 70% of US women religious belong to) and the CDF in Rome. The LCWR conference in St Louis this past week featured Barbara Marx Hubbard as the keynote speaker. Scandalous, to say the least.

It's posted on Youtube in four parts. Thanks for posting this info, because I've wanted to see it, but don't have a TV.
