Greg was a former co-worker of mine who transferred a couple of years ago to another department. Very recently, he was diagnosed with advanced liver cancer and left work about 2 weeks ago, ostensibly to take vacation. We learned yesterday that he reposed earlier this week.
Greg was born in postwar Germany and his Ukrainian parents emigrated to Cleveland shortly thereafter, with little more than pennies in their pockets. From these very humble beginnings, he graduated college, served as an officer in the US Navy, and had a successful career as an attorney after completing law school. In your prayers, please remember Greg, as well as Deborah, his wife of almost 40 years, his children, grandchild, parents, and brothers.
Vichnaya pamyat, so svyatimy upokoi, Christe, vichnaya pamyat!
