Oh my, sO many prayers I have missed posting on. Please know the needs and prayer request are in my prayers everyday!

My husband went to Eternal Memory on August 27, 2011. What a crazy year it has been! I know God has been so busy working to get things right!

Just wanted to let you know as an update...TODAY I GET MY DAD IN HIS NEW APARTMENT! Thank you Sweet Jesus for hearing our prayers, and making the way. Now, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, make it easy!

Thank you everyone for your prayers!

All of the other stuff is now stopped, for those who are familiar. I am now dealing with the detective, bank, and District Attorney on felony charges. Not to mention trying to find everything they did for the bank and credit union. Grumble. Grumble!

DON'T EVER THINK YOUR PARENT CAN'T GET SCAMMED. BE VIGILENT!

Rose,

How hard it is as our parents age and we who were once the cared-for become the caregivers and the roles essentially reverse.

Prayers for you as you face these challenges against the backdrop of the first anniversary of your husband's repose.

And prayers for your dad as he adapts to his new situation.

O Lord God,
look with mercy on all whose increasing years bring them isolation, distress, or weakness.
Provide for them homes of dignity and peace;
give them understanding helpers and the willingness to accept help;
and, as their strength diminishes,
increase their faith and their assurance of your love.
We pray in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord,
AMEN.

Glory to God that He made straight the way...so often our situations are tied up in knots, and we don't know how to proceed...only God, in His great love and mercy, hearing our prayers, can undo them.

May our Lord and our most holy Mother of God, whose fasting period we are in as we approach the great feast of her dormition and assumption, be with you and bless you in all things, dear Pani Rose..

With love in Christ,
Alice

Prayers of gratitude for the blessing of Rose's Dad being safely relocated and prayers for the swift resolution of the remaining issues. Prayers, too, for our sister and beloved friend, Rose, as she works through these.
