Almighty God,
we remember before you today your faithful servant Cyndie;
and we pray that,
having opened to her the gates of larger life,
you will receive her more and more into your joyful service,
that,
with all who have faithfully served you in the past,
she may share in the eternal victory of Jesus Christ,
the Risen Lord,
AMEN.

As You are a gracious God and the Lover of mankind, forgive her every transgression committed by her in word, deed, or thought, since there is no man alive who has not sinned, for You alone are without sin and You are the Resurrection and the Life, O Christ our God, and we render glory to You, together with Your Eternal Father, and Your most Holy, gracious, and life-giving Spirit, now and ever and forever. May her memory be eternal!

Have pity, Lord, on our departed, who are buried in the earth like seed. Make their bones feel the remembrance made of them, raise them up, and comfort those who mourn.
