My aol software went off the rails. I've downloaded a new software app from the aol website but when I try to install it, I get a message "Your computer is running communication software that cannot be used while installing this software." At the bottom of the message board it says "Other communication applications currently running." But there is nothing listed. What am I doing wrong? Bob

It's probably hidden. What do you see in the task manager? As an aside, why are you using AOL software?

What is the task manager and where do I find it?
I've just never taken the time to find another web application. I've had my business stuff all routed through this software and my email address has been there for quite awhile.

Sorry for the delay in replying Bob. Was this resolved?
If you have an older version of Windows, press CTL+ATL+DEL and task manager.
