I saw something very nice at yesterday's March for Life in Washington, DC.

As the march passed the U.S. Capitol I saw a priest approach one of the Capitol Police and thank him for his service to our country. The police officer responded to the priest saying: "Thank you, Father. And thank you for being here today. God bless you."

The crowd at the March is always polite and friendly. It was much large this year, but only fairly small number of people managed to get through the security screen into the main area (do the address being given by Vice-President Pence). Most people wound up gathering on Constitution Avenue and the area of the Mall closest to it.

Please remember to keep our country, our government and all of our armed forces in your prayers.

May God protect the 'least of the brethren', the unborn, and forgive us our countless acts of infanticide!

The petition for "the President of the United States*, all civil authorities, and armed forces everywhere" during the Great Entrance in the Antiochian Archdiocese has been VERY comforting these last two Sundays.

*some serving Priests say "the Justices of the Supreme Court, the members of Congress, and the President of the United States..."

Our country and new president are in great need of prayer.
