Last month, an article [pro-tridentina-malta.blogspot.com.mt] appeared that caused great sensation in Roman Catholic circles (in particular conservative/traditional ones).

Among other things, it says:

Quote
Reliable sources close to the Holy See have indicated that sometime in the second half of 2018, the Novus Ordo Lectionary and Calendar are to be imposed upon the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Mass.

If such changes were to be really implemented, could subsequent changes target the Eastern Rites?

Christ is in our midst!!

Can you link the article or provide the source? Unsubstantiated rumors do more damage than good.

What does this have to do with the Eastern Catholic Churches in the first place? On another note, I doubt that an imposition of this sort would be made because it would violate previous Roman instructions against mixing liturgical traditions.

links, I had posted the website that first mentioned it.

I failed to see the links in your first post.

Thanks.
