Good day!

I would like to know how can I pray the Vespers at home. I am not asking for the ritual or the variables parts of this prayer.
When I pray vespers at home, I don't know if I can pray the Litany or no. I have read in some pages that this is possible and in others, that this must be replaced with 40 "Lord, have mercy".

Is any clear document that explains how can a lay person pray alone at home?

Thank you very much in advance.

I would contact Fr. Ivan Chirovsky at St John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church Southside, Pittsburgh. He will be able to give you the texts for Vespers, Matins, and other services that you may want which have the normal part and then instructions if you are doing a readers service.

The Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Edmonton has a .pdf publication which they call a Clergy Service book, but there are parts like at the beginning of the service, it will say on top "Without a priest you say..." The link is here Service Book
