Prayers are requested for Archpriest John Nakonechny of St. Vladimir's Ukrainian Orthodox church in Parma, OH, going in for open heart surgery today. Also, for my former parishioners, Helen, having cataract surgery, and Presbytera Katina Patitsas, diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.

May the Lord God send His angels of mercy upon the Archpriest John, and grant him a successful outcome of his open heart surgery; upon the handmaid of God, Helen, for successful cataract surgery, and upon the Presbytera Katina for healing of cancer.

May He raise all of them up from their sickness and grant them many years in peace, health and salvation.

Thank you all! I am happy to report that Helen is now cancer free. Glory to God! I'm sure Fr. John came through surgery successfully or I would have heard by now. I ask your continued prayers for Presbytera Katina.

Prayers continue for Helen, that she remain cancer free. And for Archpriest John, that he heal fully.
God grant them both many years!

Sad to report that Presbytera Katina is in a coma and near death. Prayers that God will mercifully receive her and for the consolidation of Fr. Christos and their five sons.

May the Lord God grant to his servant, Presbytera Katina, a blessed repose in a place where there is no pain, no sorrow and no sighing, a place where there is life everlasting. Eternal Memory. Vičnaja pamjat!
