Hello all, please pray for me. Heart valve replacement for me is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, March 20. I have been getting ready for what they call TAVR, which is the less invasive way used now for older people ( turn 82 next month) and usually requires a shorter recovery period. Please pray the preparations, operation, and recovery itself go well. And for my family who has to make sacrifices to care for me during this time. As some of you may know my husband died in 2017 so I am alone now, but God is with me always. I used to be very active here years ago and remember how faithful you are to pray. So, prayers are much appreciated again. Such a blessings to see Alice, Neil, and others I remember from years back are still here. I still have the wonderful RSV bible James sent me over ten years ago. Bless all. Thank you.

Dear Porter,

Yes, my father-in-law and his brother both had this same operation and both are doing very well now after having it! May St John of God, patron of heart health, intercede for you and may Christ the Lover of Mankind Who had His Heart in His Side pierced for our salvation and the Most Holy Mother of God, whose own Immaculate Heart was pierced by seven swords of sorrow, protect you! Dear Porter,

I am so sorry about the loss of your husband.
Please do not worry about your operation. I am sure that all will go well.
Be assured of my humble prayer for your surgery on March 20..
May God guide the hands of your surgeons and may the angels protect your health during and after the surgery...bringing you to full and uneventful recovery. Amen.

In Christ,
Alice
