And how about the significance of other things in the Our Lady of Perpetual Help icon?
Why is Jesus looking off to the left? What about the two angels and what they are holding? etc.

He is looking at the cross the angel is holding. The other angel holds the lance and the reed with sponge. His shoe is falling off after having seen the instruments of his future passion he runs to the arms of his Mother for help.
