This past November 11th was the anniversary of the martyrdom of the Three Blessed Assumptionist Martyrs of Bulgaria (Kamen Vitchev, Pavel Djidjov, Josaphat Chichkov)who were beatified by the late Pope John Paul the Great during his visit to Bulgaria on May 26, 2002. Although martyred on the 11th, the Roman-rite liturgical calendar has their feast day on November 13th.

Since Blessed Kamen Vitchev was Byzantine Catholic, I checked the Ruthenian typicon ( http://www.patronagechurch.com/Typicon/2005/Typicon%20Frame.htm ) to see if he was listed.
I was surprised to see instead "The Passing of the Blessed Martyr and Bishop Vincent Eugene Bossilkov in Bulgaria."

Blessed Vincent was a Roman-rite bishop and member of the Passionists religious community, who also was martyred the same day as the three Assumptionist martyrs. Blessed Vincent's feast day in the Roman calendar is celebrated on the day of his martyrdom, the 11th.

Does anyone know the reason for his inclusion on the Byzantine liturgical calendar? Was he also the bishop over the Byzantine Bulgarian Catholic community during that time? I am curious to know the reason for his inclusion.

Does anyone know if Blessed Kamen and his companion martyrs have been added to the Byzantine calendar as well?

Blesseds Vincent, Kamen, Pavel, and Josaphat, pray for us!
