Dear Friends,

I have been searching high and low for a text of the Akathist or Moleben to St. Nicholas of Myra. Me and my friends would like to pray for the growth of our parish and we thought doing so to our patron would be appropriate.

If anyone can help please send me an email or give me a call.

Slava Isusu Chrustu!

Here's one that I found that can be used for any saint:

The Acathist to St. Nicholas was written by the Ukrainian Orthodox Metropolitan of Pereyaslav, Ephrem.

It is very popular in all parts of Ukraine and has spread to other Slavic Orthodox churches as well.
It remains popular in North America. I remember seeing an English translation printed by the ROCOR. I will check the web and see if it is avalable online.

You know i just placed my favorite prayer to the Most Holy Theotokos on my website. I am so tired of chasing it down when ever I want it. I also took the liberty of adding Bob's prayer for Married Couples. But honestly, you can't beat the Paraklesis or Paraclisis - whichever spelling you prefer - for help. She comes quickly...

Dear Brister,

The Akathist to St Nicholas is in the Jordanville "Book of Akathists." I have yet to see it on the internet . . .
