As regarding to Darien, I believe they might be acting in good faith since part of our Carmelite duty (because we are 100% Carmelite) is to support the Order not only morally but financially in order to continue its ministries.

I do suppport the Order both financially and morally. I still think there is spiritual greed rampant in both branches of our Order.
Why should souls who feel called to Carmel be denied a chance to prove their Call or even to have elemenatl Formation? Who would be hurt if only 5 or 6 souls became good Carmelites instead of insisting on 12 or more?
I think our charisms should be spread to qualified souls not denied. That is exactly the reason Alex and I wanted the ICC to be a success; for those souls who were not being given a chance just because they are not fortunate to have a Carmel in their area. Also to include Eastern, Orthodox and RCs to take advantage of ALL our spirituality.
