I am currently looking at several translations of the Nativity Kontakion of Romanos the Melodist.

I am searching for someone who could write out the kontakion from Byzantine Daily Worship, Alleluia Press. Thanks and blessings to each of you reading and pondering the glory of Christ coming to his creatures.

David

Today the Virgin gives birth to the One who surpasses all essences, and the earth offers a cave to God, the Inaccessible One. Angels sing his glory together with the shepherds : for to us is born a Child, God in all eternity.
