Cyril,

Although there is no formal period of Mystagogia as practiced in the Latin Church as part of RCIA, the Byzantine Churches (Catholic and Orthodox) know the work of St Cyril, Patriarch of Jerusalem, Mystagogical Catechesis. In fact, on the Sundays of Pascha, the Gospel Lessons underscore the Holy Mystery of Baptism.
