Good heavens - what people won't go and do! I remember very well the Divine Liturgy with which the parish opened (some of us, including Bishop Isidore, had a pell-mell rush from Saint Nicholas in the center of Toronto to Brampton, because at the last minute Patriarch Joseph had decided to serve at Saint Nicholas that morning).
But I had not consciously realised that the parish began thirty years ago. At my age, I can't take these shocks!
The pictures are lovely, and brought back many most joyful memories, as well as much hope for the future.

Mnohaja i blahaja lita to Mitred Archpriest Roman, Pani Matka Irene, Protodeacon David and all the parish family. Yes, a long way from when they first moved into the prison chapel, and then from the prison chapel and the new church was totally empty. This is what can be done when given the freedom to be faithful to the tradition - remember they started out in a Roman school gym. My favorite parish by far and the one that keeps me going in ministry, in spite of the distance and even though I can never get there as often as I want. My sons just love that bell tower... FDD
