Once your registration is complete you will receive a verification e-mail. Sometimes aggressive spam filters will send this verification e-mail to your spam mailbox. To make sure that the e-mail goes into your regular mailbox please add forum@byzcath.org to your e-mail address book before continuing. Then, when you get the verification e-mail, you will be able to read it and follow the instructions it contains. If it does not arrive within a few minutes of your registration make sure to look in your spam mailbox. When you complete the verification process your application then goes into a queue for approval. It may take administrators 24-48 hours to approve your application, so please be patient.

Once your application is approved your account will be in full moderation for 30 days and you will not be able to send Private Messages. We do this for two main reasons: 1) To make sure new posters are serious posters and 2) to reduce SPAM posters (this process helps us filter out those nice men from Nigeria who want to send us millions of dollars if only we would send them our bank account numbers). We request that in your first month you limit your posts to 5 per day so as not to overwhelm our moderators.
