hi,

Can certain scriptures passages when read in a certain tone of voice possibly have an effect on our concepts and outlook in life?

example 1; When Jesus is at the wedding w/his Mother and she lets him know that there isn't anymore wine, his tone of voice when replying to her "Woman", sometimes comes across as degrading from the reader's tone of voice.

example 2; Everyone knows that through Eve sin was born, and Adam followed her.
Could it also be possible that because of this act, a certain concept has set the tone about women through the ages?

I often wonder they way scripture is read in a certain tone of voice and the misunderstanding of theology in passages has led a bias opinion about women through the ages.

Can concept of scripture have adverse effect?

That through the different translations of scripture, various interpretations can be formed with different meanings, and through these different meanings can have an effect on the world and through the course of history, present and future?

Could it be possible that some undue sufferings are because not really knowing the full truth of the scripture intended through the different styles of interpretation that is was meant to be to begin with?.

your response would be greatly appreciated,

(it bugs me to think that there was/or can be undue sufferings all because a translation or interpretation got into the minds of men, and set a tone of understanding set upon a bias opinion or wrong thought of truth).

Thank You,
Dandelion
