I'm afraid to guess - what did I type? (and thanks to Father Anthony for fixing whatever it was)

Neil,

You hit the "N" key instead of the "B". No problem.

Just in case any of you happen to be swinging down South here, I just put together our mission's new website last week:

Saint Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Mission

For some reason, I cannot get it to appear in the Google search engine. THe previous website does appear, however:

http://www.geocities.com/saintnicholasraleigh/

I need to contact Yahoo later today to figure out how to do that...any suggestions would be most welcome!

God bless,

Gordo

Gordo,

Very nice. I updated the link in the mission's entry on the Start-a-Parish list.

As to the link problem - contact Google not Yahoo regarding Google's search engine, but ... if you click the above links, you'll see that the resultant tab on IE for the old site reads:

"Saint Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Mission"

That for the new site reads:

"Meet at Saint Thomas More Academy"

A quick look at the underlying Source View of each site suggests the problem.

Old site -

<title>Saint Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Mission</title>

New site -

<title>Meet at Saint Thomas More Academy - Home</title>

I'd suggest a bit of clean-up in the code.

Many years,

Neil

And thanks to Matthew Herrera, the webmaster at St Anne's Byzantine in San Luis Obispo, who has kindly added a link to our Eastern & Oriental Catholic Directory to the parish's resource page - I believe the first parish to do so.

Many years,

Neil

Thanks, Neil. When I set it up on Yahoo, I asked for an additional privacy feature. I think it may be preventing the website from going to search engines. My other website, http://www.catholicchurchgeek.com , got on almost the next day!

I will also look at the title...

Gracias!

Gordo

PS: Pictures were added today....

The new websites look fantastic. If I ever wore a hat, it would be certainly be off to all who work hard to make these sites available.

Funny thing: I found myself in one of the pictures! In the last photo of Fr. Mark's ordination, I'm the guy holding the flower-covered crucifix: http://www.kodakgallery.com/Slideshow.js...80&conn_speed=1

God bless,

Chris
