Can the Secret Squirrel tell us whether any of the Pittsburgh Metropolia hierarchs will be there?

Fr. Serge

By the way, does the Secret Squirrel live in or near Squirrel Hill?

Father Serge:

Father bless!!

I don't know about any of the Pittsburgh Metropolia bishops, but I'd be willing to venture that Bishop Adamec of Altoona-Johnstown will be there. His Eminence has been a regular guest in our cathedral since Bishop Adamec was ordained bishop here about 20 years ago. He is also one of the three regional bishops who sponsor our annual ecumenical services: the third being the local Lutheran bishop.

May God grant Metropolitan Nicholas many years.

Metropolitan Nicholas implied that Met. Basil would be attending (he said "The Byzantine bishop will be with us").

Then there's going to be like 21 Orthodox bishops from all over the US, Canada, Britain, Mexico, and Slovakia.

It's going to be a "to-do" for sure. He also said that Archbishop Demetrios picked the date and said "It's Bright Friday -- We're having filet mignon!"
