I just set up a new page on the website. This is going to be a great conference, and will hopefully continue to invigorate the Eastern Catholic mission and presence in the Southeast!

The speakers for the program are as follows:

Wednesday, June 4 (6:30-9pm)
“Icons - Seeing the Light” by Fr. Damian Higgins, Holy Wisdom School of Iconography

Friday, June 6 to Sunday, June 8

“The Eucharist: Sacrament of the Kingdom” by Fr. David Anderson

Monday, June 9 (6:30-9pm)
“History of the Byzantine Catholic Church in Slavic Countries and America” by Fr. Robert Markovitch

Tuesday, June 10 (6:30-9pm)
“Mission, Memory and Identity: Liturgy and the Eastern Catholic Identity” by Fr. Sean Labat

The requested donation for the symposium is $10 per speaker or $45 for the entire conference.

Hope to see some of you there!

We added a slight revision to the flyer. Please feel free to let others know, if you have friends in the Southeast. I think this promises to be a great event!

Father Sean's talk now reads:

Mission, Memory and Identity: Reflections on the Mission of eastern Catholicism.

Here is the webpage:

And here is a link to the flyer:

God bless,

We are looking at the possibility of recording all or some of the presentations. Will definitely keep you advised!

Awesome! I might have to go to that, especially if Fr. Sean is going to be there. He is the parochial vicar here in Charlotte.

St. Peter is a mission of the Eparchy of St. Nicholas (UGCC) in Ukiah, CA. Fr. Sean was been received in the Eparchy of St. Josaphat (UGCC).
