His Emminence is wasting no time shaking things up in the administration. Effective this past Monday, Fr. Eugene Yackanich was appointed Protosyncellus and Fr. Andrew Deskevich as Chancellor.

It seems like a good move to me. Fr. Andrew was a great pastor when I was in Erie and did a lot for our parish.

The Enthronement has already taken place. May 6 is simply the EWTN broadcast date of the event.

You can watch the enthronement from April 18, 2012 here:

Here is the complete Archeparchial announcement of EWTN's rebroadcast:

“Cathedrals Across America: Enthronement of William C. Skurla as the 5th Metropolitan Archbishop of the Archeparchy of Pittsburg[h]” will be broadcast over EWTN Global Catholic Network Television on Sunday, May 6 at 1:30 p.m. Eastern (10:30 Pacific) and again at midnight Monday, May 7 (9:00 p.m. Pacific Sunday, May 6).
The original recording of the event which took place April 18 at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Munhall, Pa. has been minimally edited to fit a two-hour broadcast slot.
View EWTN’s May 6-12 program schedule at www.ewtn.com/tv/NA_2012_May_06_week.asp.

I think he also got lost, he went in to the Altar when all of the other Bishops went in and then disappeared!
