Pontian Greeks with the help of Russian Greek community could have an exclusive opportunity to come to their historical land, which belongs to Turks now, and take part in the liturgy that was held by Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew in Sumela Monastery. Turks promise also to permit a Christmas liturgy this year! It would be nice if it takes place in St.Sophia in Constantinople (sorry, Istanbul)... My dream. Some interesting photos of this event: http://www.pravmir.ru/bozhya-mater-chernoj-gory-fotoreportazh

I LOVE the fourth photo down. It shows a human side of things!

Beautiful photos. May the memory of our Greek and Armenian brethren who were victims of the genocides be eternal!
Many years,
Neil
