Christ is risen!
During our move the binder we use to chant the Hours before and after Liturgy got packed and so far hasn't been found in the well organized but many, many, many boxes.

Having for the second Sunday now been asked to chant from another quite different translation I'm wondering if there is an on-line copy of the OCA Third Hour I can print out to use if the binder doesn't turn up by next Sunday.

A visitor complimented me on my chanting of the Hours today so I'm hugely relieved that at least he didn't notice my sense of frustration as I stumbled here and there, and grateful I kept my mouth shut with him about being frustrated.

Problematically, one may not speak of "the" OCA translation of the Hours, for there are many. If the translation that you used was in modern English, then you might read through the psalms available in Fr. Dan Swire's version (http://swires.org/Liturgy/Hours.pdf -- Psalm 16 of Third Hour starts on page 18) to see if they are the same. (And, fortunately, a cursory look at Psalm 50 there shows a reliance of his psalms upon the LXX -- but I did not check them out thoroughly.)

Unfortunately the St. Tikhons or Holy Myrrhbearers version of the Third Hour commonly used in the OCA are not on-line. Something similar is on line by Fr. Thanks to all who responded. I had a number of translations already in various sources. The binder is still missing, but I discovered tonight that my Horologion from Sophia Press seems to have the Third Hour in the translation I'm used to using. I haven't read through the full service but as much as I have read, it was consistent with what we've been using, i.e. what I've comfortable with. (I think I've been using the Holy Myrrhbearers the past two weeks.)

Still missing with the binder of the Hours is the wonderful 40 knot rope attached to it which Phillip made for me <3 which I love using for the Lord have Mercy/Gospodi pomilui/Kýrie, eléison. I'm sure now that I've found this in my Horologion the binder will turn up this weekend.
