Horrors: I have developed a serious abcess on my gum tissue - it is undoubdtedly related to periodontal issues I have had in the past, which have caused me a lot of oral surgery and loss of many teeth. Here I go again.
I appreciate your prayers for me and a good outcome. I go see a regular dentist tomorrow as my periodontist is out of town for several days.
I am praying to St. Apollonia and taking sips of Jordan Water in the meantime.
Thank you all for prayers.

That is a pain in more than ways than one. God bless you, and may your healing come quickly in the Name of Jesus!

Prayers for our brother and friend, sielos, that he be spared further discomfort and be cured of this painful condition.

Well, the dentist put me on antibiotix and x-rayed my mouth. I do indeed have some bone loss at the root of one tooth. So I suppose I'll come calling at the periodontist again. The antibiotix have cleared up the abcess.

While I was in his clutches, the dentist introduced me to another cunning little dental instrument I'd not yet become acquainted with. It determines if the roots of your teeth are dead by sending an elecric charge through the tooth. Torquemada and Dr. Mengele would have loved it.

The roots of all my teeth are alive and well, thank you. I'm not sure I could say the same of the dentist if he had continued deploying that little device.

Thanks for your prayers. Please continue them.
