No worries, but you did bring up some extending points of discussion, if we really wanted to discuss further: the crux of matters pertaining to this mess; and how we as the congregation can do, if anything, to have voices heard. Then again, as previously noted in this thread, it seems as though the new generation may not have interest in "restoring things to their proper order." I'm not especially worried about having my voice heard. It's why I gave up on RCism and attend a UGCC parish. I can pray, and the liturgy's not goofy. I don't know if you felt the same thing when you started going to the UGCC, or not. But, I just kept having this "out-of-place" feeling when I go to a RC mass, after having attended a few divine liturgies. It felt as if I was missing it. Having experienced vespers, at an Orthodox parish (since the Ruthenian parish is too small; and the priest lives an insane distance from the church; thus, vespers, or other services aren't offered regularly.), I'm slowly moving away, personally from RC worship; and concentrating on finding services like vespers, matins, etc.

I rather hated going to the new Mass, so it wasn't the same for me, but my wife and children certainly noticed the difference. Once, after UGCC-ing for some time but having occasion to attend our old RC parish, immediately after Mass, one of the little ones asked in surprise why we weren't going to church that day. I don't know what we would do if there was a Latin Mass near us. I still think of it fondly, but my children can barely remember anything but the Divine Liturgy.
