I went to church on Holy Theophany and they only give you a little bit of Holy Water. I thought to myself could I take this Holy Water and add it to a bigger pail of water and now it is holy water so I would have more to use? Now, I ask you: Can I do this? Is it valid Holy Water?

Christ is in our midst!!

Did you ever think to take your own vessel with water in it and ask to have it blessed on this day?

At least in the west, if you add a smaller volume of water to Holy Water, it is all Holy Water. (Extreme case: at least one church in Poland dealt with high demand which essentially used a toilet tank system to make sure the level stayed high and add small amounts. You could use a few bucks in swamp cooler parts to accomplish this, too . . .)

Also, Holy Water and Theophany Water are *not* the same thing.

I'm certainly not the one to give a full explanation, as I'm kind of hazy myself.

Roughly (*very* roughly), Theophany water is consecrated rather than blessed, with an invocation of the Holy Spirit, which Holy Water does not have.
