And John those are wonderful Christmas greetings. Thank you! biggrin

I feel the same way. It is hard to explain to people that don't know, how one has posted on a forum for so many years, that we have never seen each others face for the most part - and well may never until heaven - and yet we are somehow family.

GOD IS GOOD! In his children - he says we will know each other by our love. I guess that says everything.

God bless you too, and may your Feast of the Nativity of our Lord be nothing but miraculous.

In Christ,
Pani Rose

Two Lungs thanks so much for searching. I tried and kept coming up empty handed.

God bless you!

Actually literary Ukrainian would be:

Khrystos Rodivsya! Slavite Yoho!

In church we say:

CHRISTOS GENNATAI! Christ is born!

DOXASETE! = Give Him glory!

(Greek ofcourse) wink

(...and if you attempt this, remember that 'r' is always rolled!)

Hello Alice!

How do you say the Greek phonetically?

Is is Kreestos Jenna-tee! Thox-sayte ?

I know the "R" rolls off.

Thanks! And Merry Christmas!

Hi Shane,

How have you been? How is it going in your new Church home?

It is: HRISTOS YENNATE! THOXASETE!

(Accent on the bold).

May you have a blessed Christmas,
Alice
