Note: Links to on-line parish directories of our Orthodox brethren are here For years, The Unofficial Directory of Eastern Catholic Churches in the US served as a centralized source for location data on Eastern and Oriental Catholic parishes. Regretably, a few years ago, it ceased to be updated and, over time, its usefulness declined. With upgrading and expansion of ByzCath, an opportunity arose to develop a new, improved, on-line directory. Presently, we are still compiling it; so, please be patient if your parish isn't yet listed. Sources and Reliability of the Data Every effort is made to assure the accuracy of information presented, but limitations persist. The Official Catholic Directory, eparchial and parish websites, and other on-line and print resources were consulted in compiling the entry data. Ongoing, we depend on our users to identify errors, provide missing information, and update us. Schedules should be verified in advance, particularly for Feasts and seasonal considerations.

Nativity of the Mother of God
Your nativity, O Virgin Mother of God, heralded joy to the universe; for from you rose the Sun of Righteousness, Christ our God. He redeemed us from the curse, He gave the blessing, and by trampling Death, He gave us everlasting life.

| When you are praying, watch over yourself so that not only your outward man prays, but your inward one also. Though you be sinful beyond measure, still pray. Do not heed the devil's provocation, craftiness, and despair, but overcome and conquer his wiles. Remember the abyss of the Saviour's mercy and love to mankind. The devil will represent the Lord's fact to you as terrible and unmerciful, rejecting your prayer and repentance; but remember the Saviour's own words, full of every hope and boldness for us: `Him that cometh to Me, I will in no wise cast out'; and `Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden' - with sins and iniquities, and wiles and calumnies of the devil - and I will give you rest.'
