The traditional position of the Gloria in Excelsis in the Gallican Liturgy is at the end, not close to the beginning as in the Roman Liturgy.

Archbishop Alexis van der Mensbrugghe did a worth-while version of the Gallican Liturgy, which warrants serious consideration.

Father Schneirla later responded to Father Alexander - and one must, I think, agree that Father Schneirla came off the better of the two.
