A candle was lit, and he now rests.

There was a very nice turn out for the funeral, with many bishops, clergy and laity.

Bishop Basil was a priest for 64 years, 22 of which he was a bishop. He died at the age of 88.

(The first married man that he ordained to the priesthood was my brother, and that was about 12(?) years ago.)
