How good it is to be here
or maybe not to be.
To speak to those that we cannot see.
To embrace those that we cannot feel.
To express our feelings to the void.
Yes, it is to all of you that I speak,
all of you who are not here.
Prove to me that you are here.
Show yourselves!!!, or be silent
and close this thread.

It's that 'desert spirituality,' you know, just us and the Stooges. Mmm, quiet, isn't it?
Are the angels and saints saying anything?

As always they are on their faces before God, giving Him praise and thanksgiving. Which I definatley need to do more of.

However, there is something about this contraption they call a computer and all the people that are running around inside of it. Some just like me that don't sleep too. What comfort!

I must have my comfort zones mixed up!

Hee hee! Well, C, I know you aren't crazy about my Avatar. But believe it or not, my love for the Stooges was an instrumental part in my return to faith in God. It's a long story. But for me, the Stooges are a major part of *my* desert spirituality. When I get to heaven, I expect the angels and saints to be saying "nyuk nyuk"! biggrin

TG,
That sounds interesting - did you write that up on your web site? If not, can you do so? Let me know which site to go to in order to read about them in your conversion ...

Actually, I was glad to escape back to the desert and your nice little stooge avatar after getting thoroughly startled by Ilya's latest 'big thing' -- scary!!

See, stooges in the desert can be a good thing after all!

biggrin

No, actually, I pretty much follow the principle of separation of church and state, by keeping Theist Gal and Stooges Woman separate on the Net -- except here, you lucky people! wink

But please feel free to check out the site at www.angelfire.com/ca4/stoogelovers/ [angelfire.com] - I can use the hits, nyuk nyuk!

Dear TG.
Ok, thanks ... but maybe you should tell that story on your "theist gal" site, if it's part of your conversion...

Well, my primary conversion story is there http://www.angelfire.com/ca5/atheistgal/sept11.html already.

What I meant when I said the Stooges helped me is more along the lines of, they made me laugh, and one theory I have is that laughter makes you more open to God, because God is not only love, He's joy. (see this essay as well: http://www.angelfire.com/ca5/atheistgal/argue.html )

But it's all a rich tapestry ... wink
