Thank you all so much!!!

Dr. Harlen ended up doing a quadruple bypass. Said he went through the surgery well.

Deacon Stan knows he is being prayed for. He was still not conscience when I left the hospital - as they will not let you back in ICU till nine in the morning. Although, he was beginning to open his one eye. When I told him I was leaving he shook his head yes.

So thank you so much!
God bless you all!!!

Prayers continue for you and Deacon Stan , Pani Rose

When you can, come back and tell us how he is . We know that you will be wanting to be with him all the time you can - but remember you will need to rest too for when he returns home.

Take good care of yourself

Pani Rose,

Thanks so much for the update, Pani Rose. Our heartfelt prayers for Deacon Stan's good recovery.

Thank you, Lord, for bringing your servant through this surgery. Please continue to be with him, heal him, and restore him to good health.

Be present with his wife, Pani Rose, and family.

Thanks be to you, Father, as Deacon Stan is touched by your healing power. In the Name of Jesus Christ, I pray.

Bless you both,

Mary Jo

Before I leave to go back to the hospital, just wanted to let you know he is doing well, even though he was unconscientious, as you will see in my last paragraph - still somewhat in control biggrin . He went through the surgery ok, the did four bypasses instead of three. They took him off the respirator about 2am. I guess they have had to give him two pints and blood and are going to check him to see if a third is needed. I spoke with them a bit ago, and they are going to keep him in the cardiacvascular ICU for another day. They said he has been really nautioius and vomiting - and I know his stomach is so sensitive - with all the meds and such it must be so much worse.

But, overall I think he has done really really well. Glory to God! Everytime, I approahed his bed yesterday the words to the song "in my life Lord be glorified" would come in my heart and spirit, only they would be 'in his life Lord be glorified'. The words from Zephaniah rang in my head when he says 'the Lord sings over us'. Stan could not sing but the Holy Spirit was singing over him. God is so good!.

Thank you for the prayers, I will be sure to tell him when I go there. frown Since they don't let me drive I have to wait for my kids, otherwise I would be there. I think they all think I did to much yesterday, so they are lollygaging taking their time. Oh well! Maybe he just needs the quiet.

Last night before I left he was coming to a little. His eyes weren't open but he could apparently hear. I told him I was going home biggrin he shook his head yes. Then I said does that mean you want me to go home, and he shook his head yes again biggrin I laughed, told the nurse if he was awake he would be saying 'rose be quiet'. biggrin When he is really tired or doesn't feel good he likes things to be quieter - at least my chatter - so I knew he was getting better biggrin .

Thanks so all of you!

Great to hear Pani Rose!

We will continue to keep Deacon Stan in our prayers.

Dear Lord,

May you continue to watch over your servants Deacon Stan and Pani Rose. See to it that all their mortal needs will be fulfilled, and that Your peace will overwhelm their hearts and their very being. Protect and encompass them with Your love today, tomorrow and for ever more.
